Hi Gary, I believe when the FB “offers” are available for everyone, they show up on your main Timeline, not a custom tab. And yes, the only way to create a tab is by installing an app like the one available at: http://DoubleYourLikes.com/addtocart.php – There are free apps out there but you generally don’t get the support we offer.
Hi Christine, the welcome page is still very important. We just can’t set it so our visitors land on it automatically anymore. Facebook removed this option. But we can send traffic directly to the URL of our welcome page.
James, You are one of the first I have seen who can really show clearly and simply what we can do. I am going to follow your advise . One question – how do we populate the pages like in your instance “Start Here” . Alan

Hey thanks for that – funny I must work backwards, because I know how to do that, but not how to insert a custom icon – any tips for that by any chance?
Cheers
How do we measure traffic to our tabs? I know I looked up the stats before the change to timeline; is that info still available somewhere? I am having trouble finding it. Thanks for the video and the help.
Thanks for the Tip James. I am getting going on my FB page so great timing.
That’s great Samuel! Glad the video helped.
It is indeed amazing, lets try it.
Cheer.
Sometimes it’s the smallest changes that can make the biggest difference to your traffic.
Appreciate the share James.
Sandy
You’re welcome Sandy!
Thanks James it is good to know you have my back if I ever get a page or start a business.
Thanks James!! I have done it what a great idea, thanks again Cheers Donna
You got it Donna!
Great little nugget. Thank you
James
This one is slightly off topic. I’ve just noticed that Events now includes Offers. However, Offers is not available as a custom tab, though Events is.
Can it be added as a tab and if so how. Also, can you create your own tabs or are they all driven by apps?
Cheers
Gary

So the welcome page is of no use now?

Hey Great tip James,
What is the tool you use to make the video?
The video in this post was created using Screenflow for Mac. Available here: http://www.telestream.net/screen-flow

Hey thanks for that – funny I must work backwards, because I know how to do that, but not how to insert a custom icon – any tips for that by any chance?

Great suggestion! How about I show you how to create and install a custom icon on your page in next week’s video?
Yeah, I love how the FB cover arrow lined up perfectly with that custom icon too. Please include that tip too!
Thanks! Have a great day!

Always up for new info. that’ll help my social media efforts…Facebook especially. Cheers, Edward
Hey James thanks for sharing this. Very simple, but also very effective when putting the right apps in front of your audience.
