Which Campaign Objective Should You Choose When Creating Facebook Ads?

In this video I share the results from 2 different Facebook ad campaigns. These 2 campaigns are nearly identical except for one thing; the campaign objective. I selected “Conversion” for one campaign and “Page Post Engagement” for the second campaign. Watch to find out which objective had the lowest customer acquisition cost.

It is hard to evaluate one post effectiveness from another content wise, do you wait til you have a sense of it’s virality too? Thanks!

Hey Lenny, you’re right. It seems FB will send traffic to the ad that gains traction the quickest then it stalls the traffic on other ads in the same ad set. When I first start a new campaign, I look at CTR then Cost Per Checkout. It seems ads that are set with the PPE objective, get more engagement. You really just have to test everything to see what works best for your market.

Thank you for another great video. Have there been recent changes to the power editor? Everything looks different.

Excellent. Thanks for sharing your experience. This is the kind of information that makes business online more enjoyable, as well as profitable. A friend recently engaged an agency to manage his social media advertising. I asked what ad testing the agency performs and how does it report results. After checking he reported back that testing was an additional cost to the package he bought. Sadly, he cannot get out of the already expensive agency contract. I am a ‘babe in the Facebook woods’ trying to know what I do not know. You are a great help.
